INSPECTION PROGRAM

The City of Torrance is required to inspect commercial and industrial facilities. To determine if your facility is required to be inspected depends on your facilities Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC Code). This code can be determined by visiting http://www.osha.gov/pls/imis/sicsearch.html. Enter all applicable information and the appropriate SIC Code should appear. If you are unable to accurately determine your SIC Code contact your local NPDES inspector at the Torrance Fire Prevention Division, 310.618.2973.
