SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS

Fire Plan Review Submittal Requirements:
1. The licensed contractor commissioned to perform the work will submit and pick-up the plans.
2. Completely fill out Fire Application
3. Provide copies of all required State and City of Torrance business licenses
4. Provide (3) sets of plans
5. Plans shall be legible and scaled.
6. Provide listings and specifications of all materials listed on plans
7. Once plans are reviewed and approved fees will be paid upon pick-up of fire permit.

Fire Sprinkler System Plan Submittal Requirements:
1. Provide 3 copies of fire sprinkler system plans, to scale
2. Provide project name, address, final tract or parcel map number
3. Show scope of work and specify total square footage of the largest structure, including garage and attached structures.
4. Show sprinkler heads, hangers, and bracing details with manufacturers specifications and listings.
5. Show riser details (Specifications, number, and locations)
6. Include all architectural obstructions such as beams, ducts, and lintels.
7. Show elevations.
8. Show size of water meter
9. Fire hydrant locations and fire flow hydraulic calculations
10. Provide sprinkler hydraulic calculations
11. Provide contractors name, address, and license number with type of License (C16).
12. Provide legend that identifies symbols for new, relocated and added sprinkler heads, with types(s) and number of heads per riser. Include listings of all sprinkler heads as supplemental information.

Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Monitoring Plan Submittal Requirements:
1. Provide 3 copies of the floor plan to scale
2. Indicate scope of work for the project plans.
3. Indicate project name, address and tract number of the project on the plans.
4. Show battery calculations, voltage drop calculations and conduit fill worksheets.
5. Show sequence of operations.
6. Show point-to-point wiring.
7. Show legend for alarm components on the plan.
8. Provide one set of data sheets for all fire alarm components to be installed
9. Provide current California State Fire Marshal listing sheets for all devices and equipment.
10. Indicate central monitoring stations name, phone number and address on the plans
11. Provide the contractors or system designer's registration number, (C10) license expiration date on the plans.
