Aikido Club
Torrance Aikido Club (Chief Instructor, Clarence Chinn Sensei, Rokudan), offers instruction in contemporary martial arts based on the coordination of mind and body. The club meets on Mondays & Wednesdays at the Cultural Arts Center; Youths at 6:45 pm, Adults at 8:00 pm.  On Tuesdays & Thursdays the club meets at the El Retiro Park Rotary Building; Youths meet at 6:30 pm & Adults at 7:45 pm.  Quarterly fee: $75 for adults and $45 for children. Family discounts available.

Artists Guild
The Torrance Artists Guild is a non-profit fine arts organization that recognizes all media of paintings, printmaking and photography.  It was formed for the cultivation and advancement of art and to promote art awareness in our community.  The General meetings are held the second week of each month at 7:00 pm.  After a short business meeting, a guest demonstrating artist of spaker is featured.  Admission is free.  Yearly dues are $25 or $35 for member and spouse.  The guild hosts "Art by the Beach" at Miramar Park, the first Sunday of each month from April through October. Craftsmen's Guild
Torrance Craftsmen's Guild promotes interest in arts and crafts and the exchange of artistic ideas. Members include jewelers, woodcrafters, ceramists, metal sculptors and doll makers. Meets the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm in the Ken Miller Recreation Center. Annual membership fee is $30. If you're a Crafter, please consider joining the Torrance Craftsmen's Guild. Fencing Club
The Torrance Fencing Club provides instruction in the European-style of fencing and the opportunity to enter competition. Youths meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm, Adults meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm Classes meet at the George Nakano Theatre. Judo Club
Judo the "Gentle Way" is an Olympic Sport, popular all around the world.   Fee is $105* for 10 weeks. *Cost does not include USIF registration fee ($50) and Judo Gi (uniform-approx. $40 - $50). Physical and mental education of the mind and body by combining an excellent physical workout that increases stamina and physical conditioning that builds strength, endurance, and physical toughness.  Learn to defend yourself.  From the mental aspects of Judo, you can learn discipline, build respect for yourself and peers.  The Judo class instructors are all certified USJF/USJI teachers and qualified black belts.  Head Instructor: Ed Shiosaki-4 Dan.
Classes start on April 4, 2006, and are on Tuesday's and Thursday's at the Wilson Park Sports Center. 
Physical and mental education of the mind and body.  Excellent physical workout that increases stamina and physical conditioning. Builds strength, endurance, physical toughness.  Learn discipline, respect and build mental sharpness and "inner strength".  Learn to defend yourself.  Provides a positive environment for youths.
Beginner Classes: Students 6-12 years: 6 to 7:15p.m.; Students 13-Adults: 7:15 to 8:30p.m.  Classes run 10 weeks (20 classes) and cost $105 (does not include cost of judo uniform and annual judo membership fee).  For enrollment and further information contact Joan Shiosaki at 310-212-6158.
South Bay Judo Club offers classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Wilson Park Sports Complex.  New sessions begin quarterly (January, April, June, and September). 

Kendo Club
The Kendo Club teaches the skillful use of the sword, as well as mental and physical self-control and self-development. Open to youths (10 years of age and older) and adults. Beginning class meets on Tuesdays from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm  Intermediate and advanced classes meet on Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm Classes are held at the Cultural Arts Center. Monthly Fee is $15 (prepaid quarterly), also a one time Registration Fee of $25 is required. (Fee dos not include SCKF/AUSKF yearly dues or equipment costs.) Naginata Club
The Naginata Club offers instruction in the ancient martial art of Naginata (pole-art). Naginata has developed into an international art form, and teaches not only physical technique, but mental awareness, concentration, etiquette, and self-development. Instruction is offered to juniors (10 and above) and adults. The Club meets on Thursdays from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm in Studio 1 at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center.
