The used book sales and special programs sponsored by the Friends of the Torrance Library are brought to you through the efforts of an all-too small group of active volunteers.  This core group plans sales and programs, maintains the on-going sales tables in the Civic Center Library and, for the used book sales, sorts and stores large quantities of material, prepares the Community Meeting Room, and conducts the sales.  Like the Marine Corps., we're always looking for a few more good people to carry on this fine work.
