Art on the Wall Program at Henderson Branch

On Saturday March 6, local teenagers from West High's Community Service Club (CSF) came to the library to create and hang a wall mural.

The teens split into groups to make the mural elements. After all characters for the mural were finished, they glued them onto blue butcher paper.

Storytime at the North Torrance Branch Library is held on both Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m.

The library was packed with families all ready to make kites. First we read the story Kites: Magic Wishes that Fly up to the Sky by Demi to learn about the history of kites in China. Then everyone made their own kite.
