JUST FOR TEENS 

EXPRESS YOURSELF AT THE TORRANCE PUBLIC LIBRARY

Teens entering grade 6 - 12 may participate in the Teen Reading Program.  Complete one reading log (8 hours) to earn an incentive!  Any kind of print material counts:  books, graphic novels, comics, manga, even magazines.  This includes your school's required summer reading.

High School Reading Lists

Do you have to read for school this summer?  Come to the library to see what's on your list, and check out a variety of great books.  Check our catalog  for availability of the books you want.

Volunteer Opportunities:  Do you need to volunteer this summer, or want to work on an enriching project for your community?  Volunteer to be a Reading Partner or Writing Partner for a younger child.  Contact the library where you wish to work for more information!  A commitment of six weeks, the duration of the Summer Reading Program, is required.  See the opportunities available on Volunteer Match www.volunteermatch.org
