NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD BEFORE THE CITY OF TORRANCE PLANNING COMMISSION AT 7:00 P.M., DECEMBER 2, 2009, IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL, 3031 TORRANCE BOULEVARD, TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA, ON THE FOLLOWING MATTERS:

CUP09-00019: Petition of NAWAHA VENTURES CAPITAL for approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow the retail sale of beer and wine for off-site consumption at an existing gasoline service station on property located in the C-2 Zone at 4000 Redondo Beach Boulevard.

MIS09-00279: MICHAEL HALL (MATT SCHNEIDER) Appeal of an Administrative Approval of a Minor Hillside Exemption to allow the construction of a 255 square foot detached wood deck in the rear yard on property located in the Hillside Overlay District at 22420 Redbeam Avenue.

CUP09-00017, DVP09-00002: Petition of JOHN PUENTE, IN-N-OUT BURGER (PEYTON CRAMER LINCOLN-MERCURY) for approval of a Conditional Use Permit and Development Permit to allow the construction and operation of a new commercial center composed of a drive-though restaurant, drive-through pharmacy, and retail building on property located in the HBCSP-PR Zone at 20440-20460 Hawthorne Boulevard.

Material can be reviewed in the Community Development Department.  All persons interested in the above matter are requested to be present at the hearing or to submit their comments to the Community Development Department, City Hall, 3031 Torrance Boulevard, Torrance, CA 90503.

If you challenge any of the above matters in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Community Development Department or the office of the City Clerk, prior to the public hearing and further, by the terms of Resolution No. 88-19, you may be limited to ninety (90) days in which to commence such legal action pursuant to Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure.
