The Section 8 Rental Assistance Program is a federally funded program that enables income eligible families, senior citizens, disabled and handicapped to reside in privately owned, decent, safe and sanitary housing.

Because of funding limitations, the Waiting List for the Section 8 Program is now closed.  We cannot predict when it will re-open.

If you are currently on the Waiting List, it is important that you keep the Housing Office informed of your current address.  If we are unable to contact an applicant by mail, the application will be canceled.  Update forms can be obtained from the Housing Office located in the West Annex of City Hall.

Our office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  The Housing Office is closed on alternate Fridays.  For more information, you may contact the Housing Office at 310-618-5840.
