The philosophy of the Community Lead Officer detail is to address community problems with intermediate and long-term solutions. The focus of the detail is reoccurring incidents that are of significant concern to the community.
The primary goals of the detail are:
- To build a partnership that allows the community to become involved in the solution-making process;
- to improve safety of our community; and
- ensure the continued high quality of life in Torrance.
