To Register On-Line
You MUST establish an account before you can register. Torrance Residents MUST provide current proof of residency PRIOR to requesting an account. You may bring your proof to our office, or you may fax it to us at 310-781-7598. Please see Registration Guidlelines for eligibility.
Once your account has been set up, you can begin registering for classes beginning on the date specified on Registration Information at 8:00am. Go to Step by Step Instructions to On-line Registration for help with the on-line registration procedure.
Request an account
Click on New Account Request and complete the application. You will receive account approval and an ID number via e-mail in 1 to 3 business days. After you receive confirmation that your account has been set up, you can begin registering for classes on the dates and times specified on Registration Information.
Note: The account request must be from the adult who will be paying for classes and you MUST include your date of birth. Approvals will be processed between 8:00am and 5:00pm each business day.
Credit on Account
Patrons may NOW USE THEIR CREDIT ON ACCOUNT when registering for classes on-line. Please be sure the credit on account is under the user's account and not another family member. The program will automatically deduct your credit and will only ask for your credit card information if a balance is due.
You can now register for all programs and classes on line except:
- Advanced Polynesian Dance (requires instructor approval)
- After School Clubs
- Boutiques
- Breakfast and a Visit with the Bunny
- Breakfast and a Visit with Santa
- Ceramics Studio & Workshop Classes
- Clay Vouchers
- Madrona Marsh Second Sunday Science
- Parent & Me Mixed Media (2nd child)
- Parent/Child Clay Magic (2nd child)
- Seasonal Youth Sports Programs (Basketball, Volleyball, Softball & Football)
- Torrance Seasons Subscription
- Turkey Trot
To view classes and register
Click on " Class Schedule" to view the current session. There you can view the activity guide to select your activities. Internet registration is NOT available after classes have begun. For help with the on-line registration procedure please go to Step by Step Instructions to On-line Registration .
Note: The City of Torrance accepts only Visa or MasterCard credit cards as payment on-line.
Refunds, Credits and Transfers
If you wish to transfer from one activity to another, or request a refund or credit for a class, please call the Registration Office during normal business hours at (310) 618-2720. These functions can not be done through the internet or e-mail.
