City of Torrance - Water Commission

Governing Code: Division 1, Chapter 3, Article 5, Sections 13.5.1 13.5.8

The ultimate objectives of the Commission are to make recommendations for assuring high-quality non-interruptible water service at the lowest possible cost. To this end, a major focus of the Commission centers around working with staff to implement major capital improvements, as provided for in the Water System Master Plan. In addition, the Commission advises the City Council regarding water policy/legislative matters.
