The City of Torrance is committed to the economic development of its business community. The City began promoting Torrance businesses on the Internet in January 1996 through maintaining the Torrance Business Advertisements Listing on this website.
Business advertisements are available free only for businesses located in the City of Torrance that have a current Torrance business license.
Licensed Torrance businesses that wish to enter their information for inclusion in the Torrance Business Advertisments Listing will need the following information:
- Business License Number
- Password (the 4-digit category code listed on your Business License)
Click here for the Business Ads form. Enter your business license number and your password to access the form. This form is where you can fill in details on your business address, business hours, contact information, website address, and/or a text-only advertisement. You will not be able to edit any information that is registered with your business license, such as business name.
When you are done, make sure to click the "Submit" icon on the webpage. You will then be taken to another webpage confirming that the changes have been saved. Whenever you log into the Business Ads system, you will see the current information the City has on your business. You can always continue to add or change any information that is not registered on your business license.

The information entered for ads is processed and posted on the Torrance website once per week. Please check back in two weeks to see your advertisement.
