The Engineering Division is also responsible for the Traffic Engineering duties for the City. Our purpose is to maintain safe and efficient traffic circulation and make enhancements as necessary. Traffic Engineering functions include:
. Design of and modifications to traffic signal systems.
. Traffic signal operations, timing, and synchronization.
. Design of all roadway striping and pavement markings.
. Design of all traffic control devices (i.e. signs and curb markings).
. Design and review of traffic control plans for construction.
. Respond to citizen concerns related to traffic signals; curb painting; roadway striping, and pavement markings.
